Integrity & GDPR

Here you can read about what personal data is and how we process your personal data and what rights you have.

What is personal data?

Personal data is any kind of information that can be attributed to a living physical person. Examples of personal data may include name, address, and personal identification number.

How do we use your personal data?

According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we want to inform you that your personal data from our web form will be processed. We save and process personal data such as name, email, and telephone number. The purpose of such processing is to be able to contact you and respond to your message. The legal basis for processing your personal data is the consent you provided before submitting the web form. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing at any time. A withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing before the consent was withdrawn. You have the right to contact us if you want information about the data we have about you, to request correction, transfer, or to request that we restrict processing, make objections, or request deletion of your data. You do this most easily by contacting us at email info@drotthostel.com. More information about GDPR can be obtained via the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators, and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

You can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing a browser plug-in, see your browser’s manual for the best options. In addition to this, you can also refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. Please note that if you refuse cookies, you will not be able to use the website and all features.

Further information about Google Analytics can be found on Google’s website.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA to increase security on our website and in particular to protect our website from automated crawling and spam. Google reCAPTCHA evaluates whether data that you fill in on the website, for example in a contact form, has been written by a human or an automated program. For this reason, Google reCAPTCHA automatically evaluates a large amount of information such as IP address, how long you have been on the website, or mouse movements that you have made. All to ensure that it is really a human and not a robot.

Further information on Google reCAPTCHA can be found on Google’s website.
